Lagoon Day

Thanks to Whitney we had a chance to spend a day at the Lagoon a couple of weeks ago. Elliot had so much fun at the Lagoona Beach! Water slides are his favorite! It makes me nervous but the kid loves it!And of course we took him on some rides too (which I still feel guilty about!), but he was not so fond of them except the train one! That kid loves trains!!!

Zucchini anyone?

We've been growing the garden this year, which is kinda fun. It does take a lot of time. We don't have a backyard in a condo we live in right now, but one of our neighbors helped us get into the community garden here in Vernal. So far we only have zucchini plants that produce, but boy we get tons of them!!!!! So, if any of you want our zucchini I will be taking orders!

Sunday Afternoon Delight

So, I guess you are dying to know how we live here in Vernal?! Well, if you've ever seen any of the episodes of Northern Exposure....Maybe not that bad! Although Justin runs into his clients when we go shopping all the time, and one of the 2 OBs is in our ward (and if we move the other one will be). And there are lots of Russians that live here (5 or 6) :)))))

The one thing we enjoy the most is the outdoorsy stuff. There are so many pretty hikes and rides out here. Yesterday afternoon we went to Flaming Gorge to hike and have a little picnic. It's only 45 minutes away!!!!

Elliot doesn't like taking pictures... or anything that prevents him from running away.

Long story short, we didn't end up hiking this time because after 30 minutes of inconsolable crying we figured out that Elliot's shoes were too small.
